Hi! I’m Jess – Owner of Jess Corbett Photography, adventurer, perfectionist, animal lover, Harry Potter fanatic and passionate storyteller.
I always had a passion for photography growing up. Taking endless photos with my disposable film cameras and digital camera, the passion grew bigger. I attended Film school, where I learned everything from photography, making movies and television. A couple years after graduating and working in the film industry, I decided to turn my photography passion into a career.
Jess Corbett Photography was established in 2015, based in Thunder Bay, Ontario, specializing in couples, engagements and wedding photography. I believe in real moments and chasing sunsets. I believe in the kinds of photos that remind you of the joy that can be found in the simplest of moments together. The photos that are just itching to be printed, placed in beautiful frames and hung on your walls for years to come.
Whenever I pick up my camera, I strive to create beautiful and emotional photos that tell a story and showcase the beauty of both the people in the photos and the world around them. I invest my whole heart into making sure that each of my couples not only have magazine worthy pictures from their day, but an experience that makes them feel so loved.

Meet Andrew. I’m married to this handsome man. We are both born and raised in Thunder Bay and we actually met at the airport! As soon as I met him I knew we were meant to be. Andrew is in the aviation industry as a pilot, which is a huge bonus since we love to travel. You can catch glimpses of him in my ‘behind the scenes’ Instagram stories some days as one of my assistants. He is my whole heart and my main cheerleader and I’m forever grateful to have such a special person in my life who not only is my love, but bestfriend!
